BETH CHAIM JEWISH SYNAGOGUE
NEW HOUSE OF WORSHIP

San Ramon, CA

Phase one for the project includes the design of a new assembly area (sanctuary), administrative offices, library, conference room, kitchen facilities, an outdoor gathering area, and a multi-use room. The multi-use room, adjacent to the sanctuary, can be used independently or opened to be part of the sanctuary for special celebrations and services.

Special acoustical systems were incorporated into the design of the sanctuary walls and ceilings. The engineered acoustics paired with a state-of-the-art sound system, will provide an environment that promotes speech intelligibility for the spoken word while creating rich, vibrant natural room acoustics for musical performances.

The craftsman style detailing of the new building's exterior will blend with the surrounding residential neighborhood, becoming a positive addition to the community vernacular.
